These scientific guidelines indicate that the most successful rehabilitation after stroke is achieved when it begins early in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. However, in some cases, rehabilitation can also continue on an outpatient basis following early hospital discharge.
After completing an inpatient rehabilitation period, it is also possible to continue treatment on an outpatient basis.
At Neur-On Clinic, your treatment process is planned according to your individual needs, and a holistic approach is adopted. The rehabilitation program, shaped according to your specific needs, includes approximately 2.5 hours of therapy in outpatient rehabilitation, distributed throughout the session with appropriate rest intervals. All conditions are carefully structured to ensure that treatments are delivered smoothly and without excessive fatigue.
Following the physician’s evaluation and your appointment, your therapy program is implemented as daily sessions planned according to your performance and is typically carried out five days per week. At the beginning of post-stroke rehabilitation, the goal is to implement technology-assisted, task-oriented exercise and activity programs with a high number of repetitions, reaching an average of approximately 90 hours of therapy.
This program is generally structured as a treatment plan lasting at least eight weeks, delivered five days per week; however, depending on your needs, this duration may be shortened or extended. If preferred, the program can also be scheduled on alternate days, maintaining the same intensity while extending the overall duration of the treatment period.
