Diego®

DIEGO® is a robotic-assisted device that eliminates the effects of gravity on one or both arms.

'Smart Gravity Compensation' is designed so that you can mimic the three-dimensional (3D) movements used in everyday activities.

The comfortable arm slings of DIEGO® allow quick and accurate attachment to the device, which takes just under a minute to set up. Both arms can be treated simultaneously or separately. The system has an independently adjustable weight support system around the elbow and wrist. This expands the range of motion but also improves coordination and reduces evasive movements. This means that even the weakest arms can be supported to perform challenging therapy exercises. So, no matter what stage you are at in your rehabilitation, you can start to develop strength and control around the upper body, shoulder and elbow with motivating and engaging activities.

Therapy with DIEGO® is varied: Interactive therapy games provide audiovisual and tactile feedback; you experience movement in virtual reality. This motivates and enables a greater number of repetitions, which is essential for movement and neuroplasticity. This ensures that motivation is sustained. Furthermore, each therapy module is equipped with different levels of difficulty. Therapy at the patient's maximum performance is possible at all stages of rehabilitation. To make success visible for you, the therapy process (results) is recorded and can be called up at any time to help you see your progress. Arm therapy with DIEGO® makes the rehabilitation process more diverse, motivating and goal-oriented.

DIEGO® incorporates a full range of Virtual Reality (VR) into therapy programs to improve treatment outcomes and support function.
