Outpatient Rehabilitation

All international guidelines foresee the initiation of rehabilitation therapies in the early post-stroke period.

These scientific guidelines point out that the most successful rehabilitation after a stroke can be achieved early in an inpatient institution. However, they also point out that early discharge from the hospital and rehabilitation can also be achieved on an outpatient basis, depending on the situation.

At the end of a period of inpatient therapy, you can continue your therapies outpatient.

At Neur-On Clinic, your treatment is tailored to your individual needs and takes a holistic approach. Your rehabilitation program, shaped according to your needs, covers a long period of 2.5 hours in outpatient rehabilitation, including rest periods in between. We have structured all the requirements so that the treatments covering this period of time can be applied fluently and without tiring you out.

Your therapy program, which is shaped after your physician appointment and treatment assessment, is offered to you in the form of daily applications covering 5 days a week according to your performance. When starting rehabilitation after a stroke, it is aimed for you to be able to perform an exercise and activity program that reaches an average of 90 hours, technology-supported, task-oriented and based on a large number of repetitions. This translates into a treatment program of at least 8 weeks with a rhythm of 5 days per week, but this can be reduced or increased depending on the intensity of your needs. If you wish, your treatment period can be longer with an every other day rhythm, allowing you to receive treatment with the same intensity.
