International Patient Admission

Patients coming from abroad should apply to our clinic between 1-3 months to get effective results.

It is highly important for patients traveling from abroad to apply to Neur-On Clinic within the first 3–6 months after a stroke. Initiating rehabilitation treatments in the early period positively influences the recovery process.

Admission Process for International Patients at Neur-On Clinic

  • During your initial contact, your request will be forwarded to one of our International Patient Coordinators. Within 48 hours at the latest, you will be contacted to obtain detailed information about your needs.
  • Once your needs are clarified, our neurologists and therapy team will evaluate your medical reports. At Neur-On Clinic, the treatment process is planned according to individual needs and based on a holistic approach.
  • After the treatment plan and cost proposal are approved, our International Patient Coordinators will assist you in planning your travel and arrival process.
  • On your first day, you will be welcomed at Neur-On Clinic by our Patient Relations Team. Following the admission procedures, you will meet our clinical team and begin your rehabilitation process.

Your therapy program, created after medical evaluations, will be planned according to your performance. The program is generally implemented as an inpatient rehabilitation program and typically consists of applications spread over an average of 5 hours per day, six days per week. In post-stroke rehabilitation, the goal is to implement technology-assisted, task-oriented exercise and activity programs with a high number of repetitions, typically reaching an average of approximately 90 hours of therapy. This program is usually structured as a treatment plan lasting at least 3–4 weeks and delivered six days per week; however, the duration may vary depending on your needs.

After completing the inpatient rehabilitation period, it is also possible to continue treatments on an outpatient basis. If you prefer, you may continue with an outpatient treatment program lasting approximately 7–8 weeks, attending our center five days per week with daily therapy sessions averaging around 2.5 hours.

Your advisor will provide detailed information regarding accommodation options near our hospital and transportation to our center.
